Beginning in 2026, new legislation creates a charitable deduction for taxpayers who take the standard deduction: up to $1,000 in cash gifts for single filers and up to $2,000 for married couples filing jointly.
Gifts made directly to Trailways Camps by cash, check, or credit card can qualify, but gifts made through a donor-advised fund do not. Please consult your tax advisor.
This is an exciting opportunity for nonprofits like ours and a wonderful way to introduce giving to a new generation of donors.
See What Your Gift Can Do
Every camper deserves the joy of connection, community, and adventure, regardless of unique ability or circumstance. Trailways provides its life-changing programs for a small camper registration fee of just $75, so your support is needed to meet the costs of specialized services.
- $75 funds a camper’s activity session, including arts and crafts supplies, a music session, campfire goodies, and more
- $300 funds one event/field trip
- $1,400 provides one full camper scholarship, covering adaptive activities tailored to each camper’s needs
- $1875 Lodging and meals for a Camp Session
- $2,400 provides a full camper session
Your generous gift will provide more camp memories by:
- Reaching those who have never had a camp experience
- Increasing respite time for caregivers
- Growing family support offerings and reducing wait times to return to camp
- Maintaining health, safety, and quality outcomes
You can also give in honor or in memory of someone dear to you. Every tribute gift is a lasting way to celebrate their impact while bringing joy to our campers and their families.
